This custom-engineered industrial automation system provided seamless operation, offering both remote and local control capabilities for Kennedy Trailers’ water trucks.

Key Features:

Centralised Operation via Custom HMI Pages:

  • Operation Page: Live display of water level, emergency stop status, oil level, door open/close, and parking brake status.

  • Allows the operator to activate spray functions and lights with immediate feedback.

Comprehensive Diagnostic Interface:

  • The Diagnostics Page gives real-time system monitoring, including:

    • Active functions

    • System voltages

    • Internal temperatures

  • Enables proactive maintenance and faster fault detection.

Full Cannon Functionality:

  • The Cannon Page enables full directional control and activation of the high-pressure cannon.

  • Displays live water level data to ensure efficient spraying without guesswork.

Additional Modes for Full Vehicle Control:

  • Dedicated pages to control pump activation and highway mode, allowing for dynamic switching between operational and travel states.

Remote Operation via Android Devices:

  • The system is fully integrated with Android for remote control and diagnostics, letting users operate and monitor the truck wirelessly and safely away from hazardous zones.
