Light Tanker System

Get to know our automation and control solutions for light tanker systems

Bush fire incidents that occurs at regional areas and gazetted fire districts, light tankers provide the incident with the first response. Due to their smaller size and light weight, light tankers are quick and agile making them highly efficient at arriving to the incident within a brief amount of time.

The light tanker system consists of 2 HMIs (for front and rear of the tanker) the controller unit and the power supply unit. The HMI acts as the hub of the tanker and its functions. All the sensors that are responsible for monitoring the tankers status such as water and air pressure, water level, ignition status, pump oil pressure and compressor over temperature indicator are integrated to communicate with the HMI to display the real-time status of the functions, making the HMI a diagnostic tool. And all of the tankers functions such as the pump rpm, lights, compressor and foam can be triggered via the HMI, making it the main controller for the light tanker system. The system is equipped with 2 HMIs so the tanker can be operated from inside or outside.

To avoid complications and minimize errors when interpreting the data during operation, the user-interface consists of a minimalistic design. This is achieved by representing the data with a graphical format instead of text and numbers.

The second screen of the HMI provides a detailed representation of the tankers status to aid with trouble shooting if any errors occur to the system.

Integrating all controls and sensors and a minimalistic user-interface the tanker system provides a simpler method to operate and diagnose the light-tanker and reduce errors to a minimum.
